HIMANI DAWAR, BORN IN 1993
As an artist with a diverse background, I specialize in painting and resin art, among other creative expressions. My journey in art spans 7 years, during which I've primarily focused on realistic paintings, portraits, and knife art. While my foundation lies in commerce, discovering my passion for art led me to pursue an MA in painting, transforming my life's trajectory.
I've had the privilege of working as an art tutor at Masd School and St. Mary's Convent School, where I found joy in nurturing young talents and sharing my love for art. My artistic journey is characterized by a deep fascination with colors and a desire to explore various mediums, always seeking new ways to express myself.
The path to becoming an artist hasn't been without its challenges. It has been a journey filled with self-discovery, countless hours of practice, and moments of doubt. Transitioning from a commerce background to the world of art was a bold step, but it was a necessary one to follow my passion. Every brushstroke, resin pour, and exploration of new techniques reflects my commitment to growth and the endless possibilities within the art world.
Art, for me, is more than just creating visually appealing pieces; it's a means of expressing emotions. My work is a reflection of my journey, filled with colors, textures, and the determination to keep pushing boundaries.
