Array of Colours is located in Central Wisconsin. The family home here and there have been canvases, so to speak, for many faux finishes and techniques over the past years. She has had opportunity to transform ordinary rooms into coordinated art, as well as consulted on color selections in several church, small office and residential settings. Sandy is a accomplished artist in many hand krafted art skills and creative color coordination which began early in high school art class. She has worked with many art forms, some of which include pottery on a kick-wheel, weaving, stenciling both stencil brush method and now with airbrush stenciling. She is also accomplished in a wide range of faux techniques, including raised stenciling, antiquing, color meshing, color wash, Venetian plaster, smooshing, frottage, “woolie” pad effects, marbling and more. To further broaden her skills, she has studied under The Mad Stencilist, Sheri Hoeger, at airbrush classes held at The Paint Store in Waupaca, Wisconsin. This hands-on training has allowed her to beautifully transform what were thought to be hopeless southern yellow pine floors into gorgeous works of art. Actual photos can be seen in the gallery. “She doesn’t just "paint a room" – but makes a room a work of art.” (quote by Amy Erickson)
